And let them sacrifice to him off 'rings of thankfulness; And let them shew abroad his works in songs of joyfulness.


Those that are broken in their heart, and grieved in their minds, He healeth, and their painful wounds he tenderly up-binds.


For he despis'd not nor abhorr'd th' afflicted's misery; Nor from him hid his face, but heard when he to him did cry.


The Lord is ever nigh to them that be of broken sp'rit; To them he safety doth afford that are in heart contrite.
