His cov'nant he remember'd hath, that it may ever stand: To thousand generations the word he did command.


But thou art near, Lord; most firm truth all thy commandments are.


From the beginning all thy word hath been most true and sure: Thy righteous judgments ev'ry one for evermore endure.


Thy words all faithful are: help me, pursu'd without a cause.


Thy word for ever is, O Lord, in heaven settled fast;


God's law is perfect, and converts the soul in sin that lies: God's testimony is most sure, and makes the simple wise.


The statutes of the Lord are right, and do rejoice the heart: The Lord's command is pure, and doth light to the eyes impart.


Truth met with mercy, righteousness and peace kiss'd mutually:


Justice and judgment of thy throne are made the dwelling-place; Mercy, accompany'd with truth, shall go before thy face.


Thy testimonies ev'ry one in faithfulness excel; And holiness for ever, Lord, thine house becometh well.


He mindful of his grace and truth to Isr'el's house hath been; And the salvation of our God all ends of th' earth have seen.
