The wind blows to the south, and goes around to the north; round and round goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns.


I made myself gardens and parks, and planted in them all kinds of fruit trees.


My beloved is to me a bag of myrrh that lies between my breasts.


Draw me after you, let us make haste. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.


As an apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among young men. With great delight I sat in his shadow, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.


The voice of my beloved! Look, he comes, leaping upon the mountains, bounding over the hills.


I come to my garden, my sister, my bride; I gather my myrrh with my spice, I eat my honeycomb with my honey, I drink my wine with my milk. Eat, friends, drink, and be drunk with love.


My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture his flock in the gardens, and to gather lilies.


My vineyard, my very own, is for myself; you, O Solomon, may have the thousand, and the keepers of the fruit two hundred!


O that you would tear open the heavens and come down, so that the mountains would quake at your presence—


Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”


But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? She has performed a good service for me.


By pouring this ointment on my body she has prepared me for burial.


The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”


Jesus said to him, “Stand up, take your mat and walk.”


When they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.

So, when I have completed this, and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will set out by way of you to Spain;


like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
