“And you, Ezra, according to the God-given wisdom you possess, appoint magistrates and judges who may judge all the people in the province Beyond the River who know the laws of your God; and you shall teach those who do not know them.


For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,


I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as I have among the rest of the Gentiles.


Brothers and sisters, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.


For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.


For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.


Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?


But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we are slaves not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.


For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my own people, my kindred according to the flesh.


Do I say this on human authority? Does not the law also say the same?


Tell me, you who desire to be subject to the law, will you not listen to the law?
