And he believed the Lord; and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness.


I bring near my deliverance, it is not far off, and my salvation will not tarry; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory.


For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my deliverance will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.


No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, says the Lord.


I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my whole being shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.


In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this is the name by which it will be called: “The Lord is our righteousness.”


“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and your holy city: to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.


Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about me in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms must be fulfilled.”


Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him about whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth.”


All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”


On the contrary, we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.”


To this day I have had help from God, and so I stand here, testifying to both small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would take place:


After they had set a day to meet with him, they came to him at his lodgings in great numbers. From morning until evening he explained the matter to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the law of Moses and from the prophets.


For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”


which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures,


but is now disclosed, and through the prophetic writings is made known to all the Gentiles, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—


For we hold that a person is justified by faith apart from works prescribed by the law.


For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.


so that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.


What then are we to say? Gentiles, who did not strive for righteousness, have attained it, that is, righteousness through faith;


He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,


For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, much more does the ministry of justification abound in glory!


For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, declared the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the Gentiles shall be blessed in you.”


For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.


and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but one that comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God based on faith.


Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that was to be yours made careful search and inquiry,
