You shall make the seven lamps for it; and the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it.


He made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.


The voice of the Lord cries to the city (it is sound wisdom to fear your name): Hear, O tribe and assembly of the city!


He said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it; there are seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.


and in the midst of the lampstands I saw one like the Son of Man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash across his chest.


Now write what you have seen, what is, and what is to take place after this.


As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.


“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands:


After this I looked, and there in heaven a door stood open! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
