many are saying to me, “There is no help for you in God.” Selah


I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.


For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his faithful ones. The righteous shall be kept safe forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.


As with a deadly wound in my body, my adversaries taunt me, while they say to me continually, “Where is your God?”


“Mark this, then, you who forget God, or I will tear you apart, and there will be no one to deliver.


or like a lion they will tear me apart; they will drag me away, with no one to rescue.


Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, drum, and entire musical ensemble to fall down and worship the statue that I have made, well and good.
