besides that which the traders and merchants brought; and all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought gold and silver to Solomon.


Every one of them brought a present, objects of silver and gold, garments, weaponry, spices, horses, and mules, so much year by year.


Under the lotus plants it lies, in the covert of the reeds and in the marsh.


I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.


As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me; foreigners came cringing to me.


kiss his feet, or he will be angry, and you will perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled. Happy are all who take refuge in him.


May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts.


You crushed Rahab like a carcass; you scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.


Wild oxen shall fall with them, and young steers with the mighty bulls. Their land shall be soaked with blood, and their soil made rich with fat.
