It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved.


Wondrously show your steadfast love, O savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand.


You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand has supported me; your help has made me great.


Now I know that the Lord will help his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with mighty victories by his right hand.


“Commit your cause to the Lord; let him deliver— let him rescue the one in whom he delights!”


With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.

Why do you hold back your hand; why do you keep your hand in your bosom?


But I will rejoice forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
