because your heart was penitent and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me, and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, says the Lord.


Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.


In my distress I cry to the Lord, that he may answer me:


On the day I called, you answered me, you increased my strength of soul.


I cry aloud to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah


I had said in my alarm, “I am driven far from your sight.” But you heard my supplications when I cried out to you for help.


“Go and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of your ancestor David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.


you heard my plea, “Do not close your ear to my cry for help, but give me relief!”


saying, “I called to the Lord out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.


As my life was ebbing away, I remembered the Lord; and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple.
