If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.


Their hands are skilled to do evil; the official and the judge ask for a bribe, and the powerful dictate what they desire; thus they pervert justice.


and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’


They know God's decree, that those who practice such things deserve to die—yet they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.


Do not ordain anyone hastily, and do not participate in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.


Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.
