He walked in the way of his father Asa and did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the Lord.


Josiah took away all the abominations from all the territory that belonged to the people of Israel, and made all who were in Israel worship the Lord their God. All his days they did not turn away from following the Lord the God of their ancestors.


I do not turn away from your ordinances, for you have taught me.


As for what others do, by the word of your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.


Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.


O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous, you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God.
