For your servant's sake, O Lord, and according to your own heart, you have done all these great deeds, making known all these great things.


I am your servant; give me understanding, so that I may know your decrees.


In your steadfast love cut off my enemies, and destroy all my adversaries, for I am your servant.


Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant; save the child of your serving girl.


The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners;
