Israel said to Joseph, “I did not expect to see your face; and here God has let me see your children also.”


They send out their little ones like a flock, and their children dance around.


He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear by adversity.


After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children, and his children's children, four generations.


he sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.


Though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.


May you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel!


Then he led out his people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.


Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their parents.


The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of humans and the seed of animals.

He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and on them he has set the world.
