But Hezekiah did not respond according to the benefit done to him, for his heart was proud. Therefore wrath came upon him and upon Judah and Jerusalem.


Remember the wonderful works he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,


They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,


Our ancestors, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wonderful works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled against the Most High at the Red Sea.


What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me?


“Who is this that comes from Edom, from Bozrah in garments stained crimson? Who is this so splendidly robed, marching in his great might?” “It is I, announcing vindication, mighty to save.”


I will recount the gracious deeds of the Lord, the praiseworthy acts of the Lord, because of all that the Lord has done for us, and the great favor to the house of Israel that he has shown them according to his mercy, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.


You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.


Do you thus repay the Lord, O foolish and senseless people? Is not he your father, who created you, who made you and established you?


take care that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.


“When locks are long in Israel, when the people offer themselves willingly— bless the Lord!


My heart goes out to the commanders of Israel who offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless the Lord.
