Isaac went out in the evening to walk in the field; and looking up, he saw camels coming.


For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach the statutes and ordinances in Israel.


I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured in my bosom the words of his mouth.


May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.


Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.


Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.


I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.


Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.


The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.


If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.

And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them?

For I delight in the law of God in my inmost self,
