So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered justice and equity to all his people.


So Solomon sat on the throne of his father David; and his kingdom was firmly established.


Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and set you on his throne as king for the Lord your God. Because your God loved Israel and would establish them forever, he has made you king over them, that you may execute justice and righteousness.”


and that he would tell you the secrets of wisdom! For wisdom is many-sided. Know then that God exacts of you less than your guilt deserves.


Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.


Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.


Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.


Inspired decisions are on the lips of a king; his mouth does not sin in judgment.


It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.


A king who sits on the throne of judgment winnows all evil with his eyes.


If a king judges the poor with equity, his throne will be established forever.


By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just;


Thus says the Lord: In a time of favor I have answered you, on a day of salvation I have helped you; I have kept you and given you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages;


His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace for the throne of David and his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time onward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.


“Then shall arise in his place one who shall send an official for the glory of the kingdom; but within a few days he shall be broken, though not in anger or in battle.


Their hands are skilled to do evil; the official and the judge ask for a bribe, and the powerful dictate what they desire; thus they pervert justice.


Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly; you have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which he commanded you. The Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever,
