Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.


So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart.


for gaining instruction in wise dealing, righteousness, justice, and equity;


Apply your mind to instruction and your ear to words of knowledge.


These also are sayings of the wise: Partiality in judging is not good.


My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments;


The sayings of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings that are given by one shepherd.


I turned my mind to know and to search out and to seek wisdom and the sum of things, and to know that wickedness is folly and that foolishness is madness.
