He went in and stood before his master; and Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” He answered, “Your servant has not gone anywhere at all.”


This is the way of an adulteress: she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, “I have done no wrong.”


and to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces, and to have people call them rabbi.


But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all students.


Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests


At once he came up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.


Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, From now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”


Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus said, “You say so.”


All of them asked, “Are you, then, the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say that I am.”


Pilate asked him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”


Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, “Rabbi, eat something.”
