How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.”


And he told them many things in parables, saying: “Listen! A sower went out to sow.


The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls.”


They wanted to arrest him, but they feared the crowds, because they regarded him as a prophet.


One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us too.”


When the scribes and chief priests realized that he had told this parable against them, they wanted to lay hands on him at that very hour, but they feared the people.
