Thus says the Lord God: I will also let the house of Israel ask me to do this for them: to increase their population like a flock.


And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Declare that these two sons of mine will sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.”


The crowd sternly ordered them to be quiet; but they shouted even more loudly, “Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!”


They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”


So when I was sent for, I came without objection. Now may I ask why you sent for me?”


Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
