Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me.


But he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the word, so that Jesus could no longer go into a town openly, but stayed out in the country; and people came to him from every quarter.


As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.


But Jesus refused, and said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy he has shown you.”


The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him; but Jesus sent him away, saying,


Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.


“Come and see a man who told me everything I have ever done! He cannot be the Messiah, can he?”


He is your praise; he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things that your own eyes have seen.


And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
