Then prepare for me savory food, such as I like, and bring it to me to eat, so that I may bless you before I die.”


Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said, “Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.”


All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, blessing each one of them with a suitable blessing.


Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them; and he came down after sacrificing the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the offering of well-being.


He left them, went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.


And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.


When they were approaching Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples


While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.


Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath day's journey away.


When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.


I desire, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument;


So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.
