If I summoned him and he answered me, I do not believe that he would listen to my voice.


But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.


And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.


Later he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were sitting at the table; and he upbraided them for their lack of faith and stubbornness, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.


They had also a few small fish; and after blessing them, he ordered that these too should be distributed.


But these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them.


And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.


They gave him a piece of broiled fish,


So you have pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.


Jesus said to them, “Children, you have no fish, have you?” They answered him, “No.”


On recognizing Peter's voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the gate, she ran in and announced that Peter was standing at the gate.
