He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, human beings and animals and creeping things and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.


And Noah with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood.


My mind reels, horror has appalled me; the twilight I longed for has been turned for me into trembling.


But evil shall come upon you, which you cannot charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, which you will not be able to ward off; and ruin shall come on you suddenly, of which you know nothing.


For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.


Just as it was in the days of Noah, so too it will be in the days of the Son of Man.


Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot: they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,


When he had taken him down, they were spread out all over the ground, eating and drinking and dancing, because of the great amount of spoil they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.
