So David sent messengers to get her, and she came to him, and he lay with her. (Now she was purifying herself after her period.) Then she returned to her house.


Indeed, I was born guilty, a sinner when my mother conceived me.


And he said to the people, “Prepare for the third day; do not go near a woman.”


If a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water, and be unclean until the evening.


Everything made of cloth or of skin on which the semen falls shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.


Anyone who touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.


“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.


Shun fornication! Every sin that a person commits is outside the body; but the fornicator sins against the body itself.
