they have crossed over the pass, at Geba they lodge for the night; Ramah trembles, Gibeah of Saul has fled.


Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah. Sound the alarm at Beth-aven; look behind you, Benjamin!


Zela, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah and Kiriath-jearim —fourteen towns with their villages. This is the inheritance of the tribe of Benjamin according to its families.


But his master said to him, “We will not turn aside into a city of foreigners, who do not belong to the people of Israel; but we will continue on to Gibeah.”


So they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down on them near Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin.


Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went warriors whose hearts God had touched.
