But when he saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?


Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works.


Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; and the word that you hear is not mine, but is from the Father who sent me.


for the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me.


He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his testimony.


Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.


“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.


I have much to say about you and much to condemn; but the one who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.”


You are indeed doing what your father does.” They said to him, “We are not illegitimate children; we have one father, God himself.”


You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
