On that day, says the Lord of hosts, you shall invite each other to come under your vine and fig tree.”


He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, My time is near; I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.’ ”


Jesus stood still and said, “Call him here.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart; get up, he is calling you.”


and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks, Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’


and say to the owner of the house, ‘The teacher asks you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?” ’


He first found his brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated Anointed).


Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him about whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth.”


The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.


When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, while Mary stayed at home.


And when she heard it, she got up quickly and went to him.


Now Jesus had not yet come to the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him.


You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
