“Can papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Can reeds flourish where there is no water?


Such are the paths of all who forget God; the hope of the godless shall perish.


its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt's Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away.


They shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when relief comes. They shall live in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.


As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
