The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The descendants of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.


Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.


Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim.


When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, (fame due to the name of the Lord), she came to test him with hard questions.


and the Sabeans fell on them and carried them off, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; I alone have escaped to tell you.”


Now when Job's three friends heard of all these troubles that had come upon him, each of them set out from his home—Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They met together to go and console and comfort him.


The caravans turn aside from their course; they go up into the waste, and perish.


May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts.


Bring water to the thirsty, meet the fugitive with bread, O inhabitants of the land of Tema.
