Who can strip off its outer garment? Who can penetrate its double coat of mail?


Its back is made of shields in rows, shut up closely as with a seal.


I lie down among lions that greedily devour human prey; their teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords.


O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!


There are those whose teeth are swords, whose teeth are knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, the needy from among mortals.
