Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?


Who has the wisdom to number the clouds? Or who can tilt the waterskins of the heavens,


when I made the clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band,


He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.


He covers the heavens with clouds, prepares rain for the earth, makes grass grow on the hills.


Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of the hand? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is the person's name? And what is the name of the person's child? Surely you know!


when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep,


I will make it a waste; it shall not be pruned or hoed, and it shall be overgrown with briers and thorns; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.


When he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightnings for the rain, and he brings out the wind from his storehouses.
