Surely such are the dwellings of the ungodly, such is the place of those who do not know God.”


that the exulting of the wicked is short, and the joy of the godless is but for a moment?


they will perish forever like their own dung; those who have seen them will say, ‘Where are they?’


“Oh, I know your thoughts, and your schemes to wrong me.


Have you not asked those who travel the roads, and do you not accept their testimony,


All of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?


I would give him an account of all my steps; like a prince I would approach him.


Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”


“I will not enter my house or get into my bed;


Again I passed by, and they were no more; though I sought them, they could not be found.


I have sent it out, says the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name; and it shall abide in that house and consume it, both timber and stones.”
