Terrors frighten them on every side, and chase them at their heels.


They are thrust from light into darkness, and driven out of the world.


Terrors overtake them like a flood; in the night a whirlwind carries them off.


Why do you not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; you will seek me, but I shall not be.”
