If you try my heart, if you visit me by night, if you test me, you will find no wickedness in me; my mouth does not transgress.


You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger.


If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we would have been like Sodom, and become like Gomorrah.


A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.


And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”; the people who live there will be forgiven their iniquity.


I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.


I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.


No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.


In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.


I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, and I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me.

In those days and in that time, says the Lord, the people of Israel shall come, they and the people of Judah together; they shall come weeping as they seek the Lord their God.


The punishment of your iniquity, O daughter Zion, is accomplished, he will keep you in exile no longer; but your iniquity, O daughter Edom, he will punish, he will uncover your sins.


None of the transgressions that they have committed shall be remembered against them; for the righteousness that they have done they shall live.


He will again have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.


For I will leave in the midst of you a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the Lord—


For on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven facets, I will engrave its inscription, says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the guilt of this land in a single day.


He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob; nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, acclaimed as a king among them.


Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out,

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.


And the free gift is not like the effect of the one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brings justification.


No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.


and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
