When the boys grew up, Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.


For their possessions were too great for them to live together; the land where they were staying could not support them because of their livestock.


Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.


but we have lived in tents, and have obeyed and done all that our ancestor Jonadab commanded us.


and not to build houses to live in. We have no vineyard or field or seed;


Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,
