Yet his bow remained taut, and his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,


—for they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands.


May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!


your flock found a dwelling in it; in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy.


Awesome is God in his sanctuary, the God of Israel; he gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!


do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.


The Lord God has given me the tongue of a teacher, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. Morning by morning he wakens— wakens my ear to listen as those who are taught.

May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully

So God split open the hollow place that is at Lehi, and water came from it. When he drank, his spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore it was named En-hakkore, which is at Lehi to this day.


The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble gird on strength.
