Truly, with stammering lip and with alien tongue he will speak to this people,


By the way that he came, by the same he shall return; he shall not come into this city, says the Lord.


Then King Sennacherib of Assyria left, went home, and lived at Nineveh.


I am going to bring upon you a nation from far away, O house of Israel, says the Lord. It is an enduring nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.


In the law it is written, “By people of strange tongues and by the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people; yet even then they will not listen to me,” says the Lord.
