Christ, however, was faithful over God's house as a son, and we are his house if we hold firm the confidence and the pride that belong to hope.

so that anyone who kills a person without intent or by mistake may flee there; they shall be for you a refuge from the avenger of blood.


If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.


Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in God have made him a liar by not believing in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.


Moreover the Glory of Israel will not recant or change his mind; for he is not a mortal, that he should change his mind.”
