Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel; and they took the blasphemer outside the camp, and stoned him to death. The people of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.


The whole congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.


They got up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they might hurl him off the cliff.


And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.


Instead, one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once blood and water came out.


Then they dragged him out of the city and began to stone him; and the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.


And this is what some of you used to be. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

And it is by God's will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.


How much worse punishment do you think will be deserved by those who have spurned the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified, and outraged the Spirit of grace?


For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. For this reason Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters,
