The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.


We are all sons of one man; we are honest men; your servants have never been spies.”


They said, “We, your servants, are twelve brothers, the sons of a certain man in the land of Canaan; the youngest, however, is now with our father, and one is no more.”


Then you said to your servants, ‘Bring him down to me, so that I may set my eyes on him.’


So it was not you who sent me here, but God; he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.


My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence to minister to him, and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.”


He has gained renown by his wonderful deeds; the Lord is gracious and merciful.


They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and righteous.


May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah


Truly, O people in Zion, inhabitants of Jerusalem, you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when he hears it, he will answer you.
