Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart;


Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods? Do you judge people fairly?


For the Lord God is a sun and shield; he bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly.


Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out.


he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk blamelessly,


You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself.


and he said to them, “You yourselves know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or to visit a Gentile; but God has shown me that I should not call anyone profane or unclean.


Then certain individuals came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”


Since we have heard that certain persons who have gone out from us, though with no instructions from us, have said things to disturb you and have unsettled your minds,


But some believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and said, “It is necessary for them to be circumcised and ordered to keep the law of Moses.”


I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean.


Then after three years I did go up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days;


I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—


But even Titus, who was with me, was not compelled to be circumcised, though he was a Greek.


we did not submit to them even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might always remain with you.


On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel for the circumcised


and when James and Cephas and John, who were acknowledged pillars, recognized the grace that had been given to me, they gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.


It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that try to compel you to be circumcised—only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.


because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. You have heard of this hope before in the word of the truth, the gospel


As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest also may stand in fear.


and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.


but deal only with food and drink and various baptisms, regulations for the body imposed until the time comes to set things right.
