Do not add to his words, or else he will rebuke you, and you will be found a liar.


Thus says the Lord of hosts: Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you; they are deluding you. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.


After spending some time there he departed and went from place to place through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.


I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them.


For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my own people, my kindred according to the flesh.


Was I vacillating when I wanted to do this? Do I make my plans according to ordinary human standards, ready to say “Yes, yes” and “No, no” at the same time?


You must diligently observe everything that I command you; do not add to it or take anything from it.


You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you.


Finally, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is not troublesome to me, and for you it is a safeguard.


Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
