So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of the Lord: the golden altar, the golden table for the bread of the Presence,


the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense,


the table with its poles and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;


He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it.


The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings. They faced one another; the faces of the cherubim were turned toward the mercy seat.


You shall bring in the table, and arrange its setting; and you shall bring in the lampstand, and set up its lamps.


But you profane it when you say that the Lord's table is polluted, and the food for it may be despised.


And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.


From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.


To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
