And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, the top of it reaching to heaven; and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.


In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olivewood, each ten cubits high.


He put the cherubim in the innermost part of the house; the wings of the cherubim were spread out so that a wing of one was touching the one wall, and a wing of the other cherub was touching the other wall; their other wings toward the center of the house were touching wing to wing.


For the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim made a covering above the ark and its poles.


for the altar of incense made of refined gold, and its weight; also his plan for the golden chariot of the cherubim that spread their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord.


In the most holy place he made two carved cherubim and overlaid them with gold.

Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?


above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot speak now in detail.


It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things that have now been announced to you through those who brought you good news by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look!


who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him.
