Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal; do not let one of them escape.” Then they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Wadi Kishon, and killed them there.


As soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guards and to the officers, “Come in and kill them; let no one escape.” So they put them to the sword. The guards and the officers threw them out, and then went into the citadel of the temple of Baal.


Whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.


You shall not oppress a resident alien; you know the heart of an alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
