who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors;


You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with the wicked to act as a malicious witness.


Lying lips conceal hatred, and whoever utters slander is a fool.


A gossip goes about telling secrets, but one who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a confidence.


A false witness will not go unpunished, and a liar will not escape.


Like a war club, a sword, or a sharp arrow is one who bears false witness against a neighbor.


You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; and you shall not lie to one another.


You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not profit by the blood of your neighbor: I am the Lord.


You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
