Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous. Praise befits the upright.


It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;


One who is clever conceals knowledge, but the mind of a fool broadcasts folly.


The tongue of the wise dispenses knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly.


so is one who deceives a neighbor and says, “I am only joking!”


The words of their mouths begin in foolishness, and their talk ends in wicked madness;


Although Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he continued to go to his house, which had windows in its upper room open toward Jerusalem, and to get down on his knees three times a day to pray to his God and praise him, just as he had done previously.
