He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his faithful, for the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord!


We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks; your name is near. People tell of your wondrous deeds.


Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other.


Or else let it cling to me for protection, let it make peace with me, let it make peace with me.


How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”


He will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the war horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off, and he shall command peace to the nations; his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.


If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.


“Or what woman having ten silver coins, if she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?


“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!”


You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.


For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”


But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him?


Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,


So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.


For surely you have heard about him and were taught in him, as truth is in Jesus.


For what other great nation has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is whenever we call to him?
